Presentation Night/Dinner/Ceilidh

Strictly Come Dancing in Stonehaven

The Club held its end of season bash at the Station Hotel, Stonehaven on Friday 2nd November capping off a good season with a most successful ceilidh enjoyed by all.

Organised by "Church Promotions" the evening kicked off with a delicious roast chicken breast and veggies, followed by sticky toffee pudding and trifle.

The speeches followed as the Captains' made their reports and Club President Andy Wilson awarded the trophies before the serious business of ceilidh dancing got under way.

With the band hired at no expense spared it wasn't long before the gathered crowds invaded the dancefloor with some of the best footwork seen all season long. "Strictly Come Dancing" had come to Stonehaven and this set the theme for the whole night as the band went through their repertoire.

Forget Mark Ramprakash or Darren Gough, instead Alex Keith (Snr) and Mrs Keith stole the show with their waltz and quick-step while "Farmer" and Jo Jacobsen showed the Ceilidh dancers how to "Strip the Willow."
