"Dom"

Stonehaven's "card-board cut-out" South African player. A boost for the Club saw Dom return in 2008 from injury that kept him out in 2007. To bad injury kept him away in 2009.

Dom plays it like a true South African opening batsman, technically correct and favours the drive. Patient while he gets his eye-in, he can pick up the pace when needed.

Would surely be in the first XI if he was consistently available or available at all. A sharp fielder, usually at point, and a useful bowler having changed to an off-break bowler post-injury.

Dom's first love "Hockey" leaves him less time for cricket matters. but I guess at least it keeps him fit for the cricket season.

(Or gives him a hernia, so he can't play at all)
