Partnership Opportunities with STCC

For a progressive Club such as Stonehaven Thistle CC there is an ever-growing demand for better facilities. The day to day running costs are met with membership subscriptions but as a non-profit organisation STCC does rely on fund-raising and sponsorship to help replace old equipment and develop the club further.

Since 1993 Thistle have been involved in a development programme which has resulted in a junior section, a 2nd XI, new cricket nets, a new pitch mower, outfield mower, mechanised-roller, (all vital for a club that does all its own ground preparation), a bowling machine, club kit for 3 teams and roll on, roll off covers - a project begun in 2006 and completed prior to the start of 2007 season. With the aid of our sponsors we were able to purchase a Toro Greenfield mower which has vastly improved the cut and subsequent palying conditions of the outfield. Gone are the days where the ball ha to cut a path through the sward.

All these improvements provide the Club with a more cohesive strategy, better playing facilites and ultimately better players borne out by the fact that Thistle - a Grade 2 side of the 80's and 90's is now firmly established in Grade 1 and looking for the Championship title in 2008. You could be a part of this!

MAIN SPONSOR

An opportunity to identify with a friendly, family orientated club as their main supporter in their drive to claim the ACA Grade 1 title for the first time.

Exposure for the main sponsor would be Company logo etc. on Club shirts of the 1st and 2nd XI, advertising board at the ground, a set of stumps in their colours (used in all the Club’s home fixtures) with logo and any resultant press exposure. There would also be a presentation of the cheque carried in local newspapers and further publicity and invitation to the Club Presentation evening and Club Fun day. The Station Hotel are confirmed as our 2009 Main Sponsor.

In addition your company logo would appear on stationery, posters etc. promoting the club and would accompany the Club’s logo on the home page of our website, includ-
ing a link to your website. In the sponsors’ section, photographs and details of press releases of our joint achievements and presentations.

Juniors Sponsor

An exciting alternative exists for one of our business partners to be our Juniors sponsor. You will be identified with our recruitment drive on posters, in the local press, on our website (complete with links to your company). Your logo etc. will appear on Junior team shirts and on the Club Junior logo that is destined to go on some T-shirts for the youngsters.

Corporate Sponsors

Corporate sponsorship is for companies that wish to associate themselves with a thriving, local go-ahead club hungry for success and wish to make a contribution to that success.

It is possible for a corporate sponsor to provide a monetary donation or “goods to the value of” team base/facilities offered, expertise etc.

Benefits to a Corporate Sponsor are: Sponsorship board displayed at home matches, Press exposure at cheque presentation/announcement and acknowledgement and links on website.

Fun day Sponsor

This is an opportunity for your company to grasp the limelight for a day. Headlining our Annual Fundraising Event, the sponsor will be identifying with the community as the day’s activities are all about integration and participation of non-members of the club.

There are cake stalls, a beer tent, burger bar, tombola etc. and matches played throughout the day, culminating in the final that draws the attention of everybody. The onlookers are kept informed throughout by the MC, who between announcements plays some “dodgy” music and broadcasts our sponsors names with special mentions of  “the Fun day Sponsor”.
