"Stoffs"

Younger brother of Jonno, Stoffs also played Baseball for South Africa. In 2006 at only 18 years old he showed a surprising maturity in his bowling. Used to have a tendency to bowl the occasional beamer which upset a few batsmen.

For 2008 it would be fair to say that he has been the revelation of the 1st XI both with bat and ball gaining the Special Bowling Trophy and The Captain's Award. Now the confirmed opening bowler and a developing confidence with the bat saw him score his first 50 for Thistle.

A keen rugby player, Stoffs has the physique to match his South African fighting spirit, though £££'s not runs and wickets on his mind in 2009.
