"Farmer"

This ex-Thistle player returned in 2006, not so much with a bang, more kinda eased himself into the middle order batting with some big hitting. A safe pair of hands and as strong as an ox, Symon proved he has what it takes with the bat; who will forget how he raced to 69 against St Ronalds last year when he opened the innings for the first time.

He showed an all-round ability too with the gloves, giving the Selection Committee a dilemma at times (the type of problem, you want to have) and odds on to be 1st XI wicketkeeper in 2007. Just try to take them off him at your peril!
